I might be completely off in my thinking with some of these questions and if they don't make sense just let me know and I will clarify. My first question is when a character performs a move, is the category of JP it earns only in the current class it is in? Or is it based on what class of moves it makes? For example if a knight performs a secondary action which is assigned as Fundamentals (knight uses stone) does that count as JP earned for the knight class, JP earned for the squire class or a mix of both? If a knight performs a normal attack, where does the JP earned go to?Īlso, can a character gain JP for a class they are not currently in but have unlocked as a possible class of choice? For example, is it possible for a knight with items equipped to earn JP for the squire class? I thought I read somewhere on a forum that the type of JP points you earn is based on the classes of characters out on the battlefield. I'm still learning the ropes and unfortunately couldn't find anything in the search regarding my question on earning JP. Ended up buying the FFT:WOTL on the iPhone when it went on sale (which was a heck of a deal). I could make the stoned units disposable, but that's extra work.Hey guys! Just want to say that I'm new to this forum as of about a week ago.

AI should keep them running about, not sure how to stop the foes from eventually killing my 2 stoned units. I'm not entirely opposed to leveling, but I'm hoping for like 2 levels tops per battle.Įdit: Would i be able to do the Berserker Frog strat and combo it with Accrue JP? That should concievably get me a lot and without JP (maybe corner a foe with stoned people and have everyone else be *toads*, but with Defender AI instead of Berserkered), and I can just go read LotR three times over and come back when it's done. Is there a similar way (even if it is less effective) that allows me to get JP faster that beating up by level 1 character with JP boost until I level? I've heard the Berserker Frog tactics is really efficient, but 1. However, I don't want to have to delevel anyone, and I want to still be in the same general level as everyone else.

So I'm on Chapter 3 of FFT, I have my Ninja squad, and I want to get Mimes. It is the first game of the Final Fantasy Tactics series and was released in Japan in June 1997 and in the United States in January 1998.
